Selling and Losers

A friend of mine, Musty Mustard, a few years back, made a comment regarding a website:

'I dont like this website, its not trying to sell me anything'.

At the time that idea was foreign and revolutionary to me.

I thought a website could well also just be there for amusement or education or other stuff, not to sell anything.

That reminds me of my recent 3x meetings with other friends of mine.

We went out for tea, and then after the meetings happened, It struck me my friends also expected me to sell them something.

And in hindsight dismissed me when I didn't.

My buddies were a bit sad that I didn't propose any deals to them at the meetings. They were just social check-ins.

Also this idea comes back to that classic PBD appearance on rich dad radio show.

Like they said on that podcast episode, it's not just about selling stuff for money, it's also about selling one's ideas so one's ideas are accepted.

In other words, put bluntly, and in conclusion, losers dont know how to sell. If you cant sell then you a loser.
