We Are Here To Build The Cleverest Money Funnel

modern work means working to build the cleverest money funnel.

this means that.

building a complex system whereby people are compelled to buy what you are selling.

this means.

nowadays food and clothing are commodities.

facilities / lodging / maintenance are debatably less commodities, they can be rare depending where.

so the future of work.

is:

1.) getting a good deal on facilities/ lodging / housing maintenence.

2.) build the cleverest money funnel

that's it, folks.

a money funnel could be any company or business where I package up, and market up, some bundle of goods and services, and then sell it to people and people spend money people buy my thing from me.

that is a money funnel.

that's it.

If you don't believe me, then try working your butt off for many years for entry level pay, and seeing that nobody is rushing to pay you more for hard work, nor is anybody rushing to ligthen your workload, for the modest paycheck that you are getting.

this is getting jaded a bit i see.

in (2025 in may or june or july iirc) on joe rogan podcast they were (yet again) discussing how the future, AIs will take jobs, and etc.

and i was agreeing, and/or thinking, that yes, in the future, one way to envision it is that maybe the biggest industry will be "expensive hobbies".

so imagine that robots and AIs are doing the labor work, and only the few topmost (1% or less) of humans are profiting the most from controlling those.

And so where does that leave the 99% of humans that don't control the robots nor control the AI's?

Well the way i see it, summarizing and/or building off of what they were discussing on the JRE podcast episodes, is that the 99% of masses of humanity, will have to work performing whatever are the whims of the other 1% of humanity.

Because the 1% of humanity will be (in many ways [almost] already is) controlling most of the money and wealth.

And so the 99% will be working for example to:

1.) the expensive hobby industry catering to the expensive hobbies of the wealthy.

and/or

2.) otherise in some way assisting or serving the wealthy, for example as servants, or else vendors, or else as personal trainers to the wealthy, or else as personal assistants to the wealthy, or else as executive assistants to the wealthy, or else as artists to entertain the wealthy (artists having hundreds of sub-categories of artists too). (By the way hobbies also having hundreds or thousands of sub-categories of hobbies too.)

so weird.

in many ways the upper classes of humans have already had this for centuries and millenia already by the way.

And but in the 20th and 21st centuries, the masses (especially in 1st world countries) developed a broader wider larger classes of fairly wealthy people too though.

like in the 1950s and 1960s in the USA for example. the middle class americans so-called.

and continuing to 1970s and all the way to 2025.

And so but like you would have (or do have) the following:

1 ultra wealthy

2 very wealthy

3 wealthy

4 pretty wealthy

5 slightly wealthy.

and then more strata among these.

and then each layer has servants/artists/assistants/entertainers to serve them.

so let's say class 1 has 10,000 people.

and class 2 above, has 100,000 people besides.

and class 3 above, has 1,000,000 people

and class 4 above, has 10,000,000 people besides,

and class 5 above, has 100,000,000 people.

and then you have class 6 and class 7 and class 8 and class 9 etc. and even in the strata between you have class 1.5, 2.5 3.5, etc. there could be 1000 or 5000 subtle layers to classes.

(acturally reminds me, scarily, of how i heard caste described in the book Annihilation of Caste. iirc the book said there are maybe 4,000 or so sub-castes even if there are maybe 4 or so main castes. wow.)

but anyway.

and so.

it looks as if each class is slightly less wealthy than the class above it.

and each one in this more and more grotesque feeling vision, will have its own class of servants serving it.

in some ways maybe each class will be serving the class above it.

chilling.

and so in this way.

ok that's about it.

this is becoming dystopian.

and but you know what? people say they fear society being taken over by ultra-wealthy global elite wealthy class.

and yet.

that seemingly has already happened many years before many times over:

- kingdoms and feifdoms in england/europe in the first 2000 years A.D.

- hindu caste system in ancient india and for thousands of years

- corporations all the way from East India Company, to today's fortune 500 companies.

- imperial china for some millenia including the imperial emperors and the ancient chinese scholars/provincial/government/HuKou system if i understand.

However in my version, anyone at any level can work with anyone else at any other level. And so people can change levels with focus and determination and luck and friends etc. How very American.

In conclusion.

Modern times, just like ancient times.

Whether it be via caste system or via imperial government system, or feifdom system, or corporations, or now including via AI systems controlling us via our smartphones/devices, it was, and is, that the richest are the people who build the cleverest money funnels.

And the people without the cleverest money funnels, are just the ones living at the bottom of the money funnel (or the top) in any case the place where the value is created (where the value flows FROM).

the working class do the most work.

the wealthy class gets the most money.

We are here to build the cleverest money funnel.
