Wearing Rags




New state law says, illegal to throw clothing items away in the trash.

Frustrated me for a while.

Couldn't figure out why.

Thought, "why can't I throw out my old clothes when I can't wear them any more?"

Confusing.

Why this law?

Why it doesn't make sense?

Thought, who would want clothes that are worn out, anyway?

Finally after long time, months, bugging me.

Realized.

Ah! They mean clothes still in wearable condition.

For folks who wear their clothes until unwearable rags, this law probably doesn't apply.

However.

Even though I wear my clothes until raggy.

Every once in a while.

Maybe 1/999.

I see a person wearing even raggier clothing than me.

So then, does that put my clothes-rags back in the category of clothes again?

So then it comes down to, what is the definition of a piece of clothing.

Right?

Well does the law specify what defines a piece of clothing?

Because it could be subjective.

Anyways, takeaway is, if yer clothing is rags, then, you won't get in trouble for throwing them away, not even under the new law, I presume, don't quote me on that, I didn't read it.
