Research VOO vs SPY vs Other S&P500 Index Fund
LONG STORY SHORT.
Here are the SHORT findings what I found to be 5x different possible (S&P 500 index funds) here:
so far:
VOO (by Vanguard)
SPY (by State Street)
FXAIX (by fidelity)
IVV (by iShares by Blackrock)
SWPPX (by Schwab)
and let's not forget one other index fund that I feel should also be considered but it's technically definitely doesn't track the (S&P 500 index fund) but rather tracks its own 100 companies, here:
TMFC (by the motley fool)
In conclusion, here are 5x different indexes (by different companies is key,) that seems like they all track same/similar fund. Good to have options.
