This here blog post, is a review, of the following demo video, that is a demo video of GrapheneOS:

In the video, the persona the host Linus says that GrapheneOS starts with 14 apps installed. see screenshot of my screen showing the video stillframe showing the 14 apps:
He is saying in the video: ‘...vanadium [browser] is hardened chromium...’
Also, the video host says on the GrapheneOS device there is ‘...Accrescent app store...’ . And I cross referenced and found a link to that:
He mentions also '... Organic Maps ...', which he says is an offline map app that is based off of openstreetmap.

Morgan additional note is that, for this app/developer, also saw they published an iOS/iPhone version of this same app. : "Organic Maps" for iOs? YES PLEASE! And so I try it out on my iPhone since I don’t yet have GrapheneOS.

Also, the video host the persona Linus says like:
'...[5m.33s. mark] you don't need to privacysplain it to me...'
Morgan note: (chuckles) he he "privacysplain". first time I heard this term. But love it. So then I went down a rabbit hole looking for definition for privacysplain which ended up in this separate blog post:

Also, the video persona Linus, says he tried to install all his normal smartphone apps on to GrapheneOS, and he says it was kind of a hassle, because every single app installed prompted a laundry list of what permissions it would be asking for.
So if you want to see a visual of that then do check out Linus’ video folks!
Also, persona Linus says, ‘...13m:50s ....if you’re trying to de-google your life...’
Morgan note: persona Linus is saying GrapheneOS is a good tool if you want to de-google your life. nice!

In conclusion, if you are interested in the above, and much more, then I do recommend you to also watch persona Linus’ video as well. The visuals he presents in the video are priceless and go far beyond what I am mentioning here in this blog post. Besides, he mentions a lot more in the video that I didn’t even mention here in this blog post, so if this stuff interests you then do go check it out! I liked this video, and it stoked my already-budding interest in GrapheneOS.
